Steve: When it comes to swaging the fabrics, how to old them in place is always the question. This is one of the reasons why all of our packages come with zip locks. Zip locks seem to make things really quite easy. Once you have gathered everything up all you have to do is wrap a zip lock around it, and then just slip it over the arm. Now that I have made the swag curtains all I need to do is simply add another zip lock, create a loop between the two, and once I have done so all I do is just rest it on my holdback.

Steve: To mount curtain holdbacks, there are a couple of ways to go about doing it. This happens to be one of the ways. The first thing you want to do is just hold your curtain holdbacks against the wall, especially if you are in a corner, to make sure that you have plenty of clearance on either side before mounting your bracket.
The second step is to measure from the floor, and usually 48 inches is what is recommended to mount your brackets on. What I am going to do, is that I’m going to go ahead and mark at the 48 inches mark.
Than all you have to do is just simply run your screw through the hole, and put your bracket up. Once the sleeve is put on the wall than all you have to do is just take the stem and slip it in there. Now you have your curtain holdbacks mounted up.

Steve: In order to go ahead and put a panel on a holdback, all you have to do is just simply grab the fabric from the top here, and using your lower hand, and working the fabric way all the way up towards the holdback itself. when you have gotten up there you can just simply take the fabric and lay it over the holdback. Here now you have a nice way of draping the fabric and getting a nice stomach in the fabric.

Steve: So I’m going to go ahead and demonstrate for you how a bishop is done without putting a hold back in the middle. This usually happens when you have a window and there is no way to go ahead and put a hold back in the middle of it. So what you do, you just take simply the fabric off and you use a little cord on the back. This is a trick that you use on the back of this thing.
You just take a little bit of cord and wrap it around the fabric; put a knot in it and then all I have done is use a placeholder on the back of this. Then all I am going to do is take the fabric, pull it down here, and then pull it up, and that will give you a bishop without a hold back.
